Josh Sowden is a New York City–based photographer working across portraiture, fashion, and editorial photography. His images are rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and a deep curiosity about human connection. Through an intuitive and collaborative approach, he creates photographs that feel personal rather than performative, giving space for authenticity to emerge naturally. Alongside his fashion and editorial work, Josh is developing an ongoing portrait series documenting gay and queer men throughout New York City, exploring intimacy, identity, and the many ways queer people experience and shape the city around them.
